Love to watch or read the Christmas Carol? Well now you can expeience the dances, delicacies and dress yourself in an evening of old fashioned charm!
Join us in dancing and frolicking an Old Christmas Spirit into our Holidays from the lifetime of Charles Dickens, 1812-1870.
Refreshments and music will be provided as the Old Glory Vintage Dancers lead you through the energetic dances of the 1800's as this year's ball is hosted in conjunction with the Dickens' Christmas Festival held at the Utah State Fair Grounds.
We will also be passing the Mytery Gift Box around so that everyone has a chance to unwrap one of the many gifts such as 2 Hogle ZooLight tickets or gift certificates, etc...so come join in the anitque fun and Christmas Cheer!
Please dress in formal attire or in the fashions of Dickens life time.

Night of a Thousands Cosettes Grand Charity Ball

The Grand Hall in the Union Pacific Depot at the Gateway in Salt Lake City
Couples, Daddy & Daughters and Individuals are invited to celebrate the sesquicentennial of Les Miserables, it’s message, it’s publication and it’s ultimate impact by stepping back in time as Old Glory Vintage Dancers perform and teach the dances of the 1800’s. Come dressed in historical clothing, partake of delectable refreshments and enjoy live entertainment from the musical in a truly historical setting. Victor Hugo stated before the first reader turned the first page, “So long as hunger, poverty, and ignorance exist, books of the nature of Les Miserables are of use.”, therefore all proceeds will benefit “People Helping People, www.phputah.org.

Friday 7-10pm. Free Civil War Era Dance. Come Dressed up or not, but come and dance the night away old fashioned style.
Sat. 10am-5pm. Open to the public free of charge.

We will be doing interactive demonstrations.
Salt City Steam Fest and Steampunk Ball
Dance your way back through time at the Steampunk Ball! Old Glory Vintage Dancers will be demonstrating and teaching the jubilant dances of times past with a bit of added attitude. Don't worry! You do not have to be an experienced dancer to pick up these dance steps. If you can walk and turn, and you know which is your right hand, you can dance these dances. Bring your sense of adventure and fun, and enjoy the types of dances you've seen in movies like Pride and Prejudice and Little Women, but with some SteamPunk.
